Job summary

Vancouver Career College in Burnaby, British Columbia, is seeking a part-time Electrician Instructor (Red Seal) for our Burnaby campus. The successful candidate will deliver hands-on, industry-aligned instruction and mentor students in practical electrical trades.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Electrician Certificate of Qualification is required.
• 5+ years of experience in the electrical industry as a journeyperson.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction that meets program and curriculum objectives.
• Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently.

• Participate in program and campus activities.
• Monitor and guide students during practicum/clinical placements (if required).

Nice to Have:

• Previous teaching or instructor experience.
• Credential in Adult Education (completed or in progress).
• Familiarity with educational technologies and modern teaching methods.
