A leading home builder in Calgary is searching for a motivated Construction Administrative Support individual to assist the construction team. The role entails managing schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders, and requires strong organizational and communication skills. Ideal candidates will have residential construction experience and proficiency in Revit, ensuring seamless project management and client communication.

Job Description:
Work closely with the Construction Manager, Warranty Technician and Site Supervisors and internal stakeholders
Provide administrative support to construction team. Deals with municipalities.
Maintain database of trade contractor, supplier and vendor contact information. Maintain files of approved bid solicitations and options.
Maintain Trade scopes of work and contracts.
Distribute plans, specs, production schedules, and related documents and correspondence to field personnel, trade contractors, suppliers and others
Prepare and distribute permit applications to municipal building departments. Track the documents’ status with the building department.
Communicate with site staff and trade partners about scheduled deliveries and confirmations
Coordinate the scheduling of routine inspections with municipalities and utilities
Liaison with clients regarding construction progress, change orders, updates and deadlines
Work with scheduling software; monitor change orders and coordinate them with site staff and construction schedules.
Drafting in Revit required for post architectural and permit plan changes
Assist drafting team as needed
Requirements:
Residential Construction industry experience is required. (2-3 years preferred)
Working knowledge of Revit required
Construction administrative experience is an asset
Excellent customer service and proven communication skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Strong knowledge of ANHWP guidelines and building codes is an asset
Attention to detail and commitment to deadlines
Must have a demonstrated positive and proactive approach and be prepared to be flexible in the work performed
