Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Seasonal - Part Time staffer at Blue Mountain Resort to accurately set up meeting rooms for conferences and events, assist with banquet service, and help maintain clean, stocked workspaces. The role offers a wage of $18.71 per hour plus gratuity, with shifts that may extend late into the night.

Candidates should have Smart Serve certification, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8–12 hour shifts, including occasional

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down meeting rooms and events, stocking materials.
• Maintain linen areas and inventory; keep spaces clean and organized.
• Refresh and reset meeting rooms during events; assist banquet service.
• Coordinate with the bar team and restock inventory and glassware.
• Ensure proper beverage inventory management using FIFO.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The purpose of this role is to accurately set up meeting rooms to support all Food and Beverage events associated with our conference business as well as other outlets.

• Sets up and tears down of meeting rooms and special events, including stocking of meeting room materials.
• Maintains and stocks linen areas: Reports inventory requirements to leaders, ensuring store areas are clean, organized and stocked.
• Refresh, reset and maintain meeting rooms appearance during events
• Set up banquet bar service: set up tables, mobile bars, pick-up and delivery of bar product.
• During bar service: maintain communication with Bartender, restock bar inventory, restock ice, glassware.
• Responsible Beverage Inventory management; cleaning and maintaining store rooms. Use FIFO method of stocking and using product.
