Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario seeks seasonal terrain park crew to build and maintain trails, clear trees, and support on-mountain events. You will inspect parks daily for hazards and help repair features with hand and power tools.

This role is seasonal full-time with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Applicants should have hand tool experience, knowledge of power tools, reliable transportation, and be able to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Builds new trails and/or improves existing trails using hand tools; rakes, shovels, pick-axes and gas-powered equipment; plate packer, weed whackers and leaf blowers.
• Includes cutting down and removing fallen trees using a chain saw.
• Moves natural elements by hand, such as big rocks and fallen trees.
• Assists the events department with setup and teardown of on mountain events.
• Inspects terrain park daily for unsafe conditions and completes Terrain Park log.
• Repairs and maintains terrain park features using hand and power tools. Examples of tools include circular saw, jig saw, grinder, drills, paint brush.
