Job summary

Clutch, Canada's largest online used car retailer based in Toronto, is seeking a Condition Report Writer to coordinate inventory capture across multiple locations. You will ensure accurate vehicle data, declarations, and seamless collaboration with departments to minimize errors and optimize listings.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable working 100% on-site. Responsibilities include data capture, inspections, and training junior staff, with weekend and rotating

Qualifications

• Highly organized and data-driven with an eye for detail.

• G2 driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission.
• Weekend and rotating shifts from 8am to 6pm.

Responsibilities

• Accurately capture and upload vehicle data to internal systems.
• Maintain accurate vehicle data across internal systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections with high attention to detail to ensure quality listings.
• Collaborate with wholesale to streamline logistics and move vehicles between sites.
• Work across storage sites, dealerships and auctions to capture vehicles timely.
• Oversee junior capture representatives and shuttle drivers, providing training.

About The Role

The Condition Report Writer will oversee the coordination and optimization of inventory capture across multiple storage and facility locations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory records capturing, declarations and effective collaboration across departments. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, data-driven, and an eye for detail.

What You’ll Do

• Accurately capture and upload the vehicle data to internal systems.
• Maintain accurate and updated vehicle data in the internal systems.
• Perform all vehicle inspections with major attention to detail in order to provide a high quality listing for customers and minimize errors, cancelled sales and arbitration.
• Collaborate closely with the wholesale department to streamline logistics processes and ensure efficient vehicle movement between storage sites.
• Work in different storage sites, dealerships and auction sites to capture vehicles timely.
• Oversee junior vehicle capture representatives and shuttle drivers to provide training, guidance and support.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail - critical for accurate captures.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Comfortable working 100% on-site.
• License: Minimum of a G2 Driver’s License (valid in Ontario).
• Driving Record: Clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission.
• Flexible to work over the weekend and rotating shifts from 8am to 6pm.

• Background in automotive, data capture, or a related field (0-2 years of experience).

Compensation & Benefits

• Wage: $20 per hour
