Job summary

Vector Construction, part of the Structural Group family, seeks Concrete Repair Technicians for Vancouver, BC. Join a team delivering concrete repair and restoration across Canada with PT & rebar installation, bridge work, and waterproofing. Be ready for day and night shifts and travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-5+ years of construction experience preferred but not required.
• Post tensioning experience is a plus.
• Enrollment into Liuna 1611 after the first 2 weeks of employment is required.
• Must be open to traveling.

Responsibilities

• Concrete repair work across sites.
• Post tensioning installations and related tasks.
• Concrete demolition, placement, and finishing.
• Light formwork and rebar replacement.
• Coating applications and waterproofing.
• Epoxy injection and equipment grouting.
• Sandblasting and site prep.

Duties Include:

• Concrete repair
• Post tensioning
• Concrete demolition
• Concrete placement and finishing
• Light Formwork
• Rebar replacement
• Coating applications/waterproofing
• Epoxy injection
• Equipment Grouting
• Sandblasting

Job Requirements:

• Understanding of construction equipment, tools and materials
• 1-5+ years of prior construction experience preferred but not required
• Post tensioning experience is a plus
• Enrollment into union Liuna 1611 (Construction and Specialized Workers Union) is required after the first 2 weeks of employment
• Must be open to traveling
• Must be flexible in working day shift and night shift hours, depending on the job schedules
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Comfortable working at high heights as some projects may require man lifts or scaffold systems
• Comfortable working on or around water as some projects may require this
• Reliable transportation to travel to and from project sites locally and / or out of town (if selected for out-of-town projects)

Hourly Range: $30-34/hr
