Job summary

Maple Reinders is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead field crews and oversee day‑to‑day concrete operations for the Duffin Creek WWTP project in Pickering, ON. This hands‑on role emphasizes safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution while meeting schedules and safety standards.

The foreman will supervise crews, coordinate formwork and placement, read drawings, enforce safety, and monitor productivity. Start: mid to late September 2026. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of concrete construction experience.
  • Lead Hand or Foreman experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete forming, placement, and finishing.
  • Ability to perform layout, verify elevations, and maintain tolerances.
  • Heavy civil or infrastructure experience is an asset.

Job description

Maple Reinders is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead field crews and oversee day‑to‑day concrete operations for the Duffin Creek WWTP project in Pickering, ON. This role is responsible for safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of concrete work while meeting project schedules, productivity targets, and safety standards. The Foreman is hands‑on, leads by example, and is accountable for both individual and crew performance.

Expected start date

Mid to late September 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead concrete crews in daily field operations
  • Plan and coordinate formwork, concrete placement, and work sequencing
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and to quality standards
  • Enforce company safety policies and participate in daily safety meetings
  • Monitor productivity, labour usage, and workmanship
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and other trades
