Job summary

Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd in Pickering, Ontario, is seeking a Concrete Formsetter/Labourer for the Duffin Creek WWTP project. Join a respected Canadian construction firm on a long-term assignment starting mid to late September 2026.

You will interpret blueprints, assist with formwork, set and strip concrete forms, help with layout and elevation, and support safety. Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle. Competitive hourly wages and benefits, with weekly pay and union support.

Qualifications

• Interpret blueprints, specifications and project plans.
• Assist with pre-fab gang forms, job built stick forms, install forms and ensure quality control of formwork.
• Assist with stripping and removal of concrete forms after pours.
• Provide support to the concrete foreman with project layout and elevation shooting.
• Help manage and prevent occupational hazards and ensure the site meets all safety standards.
• Assist with install form ties and misc formwork hardware.
• Help align, straighten, plumb and square forms for installation.
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces and other temporary structures.
• Support the construction of suspended slabs.
• Must have a valid driver's license and your own vehicle.
• Support the installation of handrails.
• Report any unsafe work practices or safety hazards to Foreman.
