Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a permanent concrete finisher to join our team. The role is full-time with 30 to 40 hours per week and requires English-language proficiency.

Responsibilities include placing concrete, finishing surfaces, supervising apprentices, and ensuring safety and quality on commercial, industrial, and residential sites. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are expected.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• 3–5 years of experience or equivalent.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Instruct apprentices.
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces.
• Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
