Job summary

McLean Contracting Inc. in Alberta is seeking a skilled concrete finisher to join our outdoor construction teams. The role involves finishing freshly poured concrete, using hand and power tools, and applying sealants to cure surfaces.

You will inspect grades, level surfaces, and repair worn areas on concrete structures at the job site. Candidates should have secondary school graduation and 3–5 years of experience, and be prepared for physically demanding, on-site work in dusty outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.

• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
