Job summary

JAY KALI CONSTRUCTION LTD in Surrey, BC, is hiring for a permanent full-time concrete finisher. You will perform formwork checks, texture and finish concrete, read drawings, and ensure curing with proper sealing components. Relocation may be supported. On-site position with no remote option.

Salary is CAD 39.00 hourly, 30–40 hours per week. Candidate should have 3–5 years of experience and a high school certificate. Relocation and on-site work requirements apply.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Physically demanding role; ability to perform bending, crouching, kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials.
• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
