Job summary

Dynamic Concrete Pumping Inc. is seeking an experienced concrete finisher to work on-site at various Calgary area projects.

The role involves placing concrete to grade, finishing surfaces, and supervising apprentices, with opportunities to handle forms, vibration, and cure treatments. Applicants should have at least five years of field experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in diverse conditions.

Qualifications

• 5 years or more of site concrete or related experience.
• On-site work at multiple locations as required.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• Instruct apprentices
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
• Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
