Job summary

Kibbi in Canada is seeking a skilled concrete worker to join our on-site teams. The role involves checking formwork, placing concrete, finishing surfaces, and using power tools across various sites.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience, be comfortable with travel, and work in all weather conditions. A safety-minded, dependable team player is essential for success on rural, urban, industrial, and residential projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete work with formwork, placement and finishing.
• 3–5 years of experience in related roles.
• Willingness to travel and work across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials.
• Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures.
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces.
• Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades.
