Job summary

eBrandon is seeking a hardworking and dependable Concrete Carpenter's Helper to join our construction team. This hands-on role works alongside experienced crew members to build, set, strip, and maintain concrete forms on a variety of projects.

The ideal candidate is willing to learn, works well in a team, and is comfortable outdoors in a physically demanding environment. This full-time position offers apprenticeship opportunities and competitive wages based on experience.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
• Willing to train the right person.
• Physically capable of lifting and handling construction materials.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation to the jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew members with building, setting, and stripping concrete forms.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and move lumber and forming materials.
• Help with layout and preparation of concrete formwork.
• Load, unload and organize materials and tools.
• Operate basic hand and power tools under direction.
• Assist with bracing, shoring, and securing forms.
• Prepare work areas for concrete placement.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe jobsite.
• Remove debris and excess materials from work areas.
• Perform other construction-related duties as directed.

• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Valid driver's license
• Own transportation to the jobsite

Physical Requirements
