Job summary

Autism Services Saskatoon is seeking construction workers to prepare layouts and work with wood and related materials across multiple locations. This role involves measuring, cutting, assembling, and erecting components according to building specifications.

Candidates should be able to read plans or follow verbal instructions, move heavy materials, and operate scaffolding and lifting equipment. The job requires physical effort and adherence to safety standards on-site in Saskatoon.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roofs.
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
  • Move tools, equipment and other materials.
  • Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment.
  • Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
