Job summary

GardaWorld in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a Concierge Security Guard. You will engage with people and ensure they feel confident in your ability to help them. The role emphasizes customer service across offices, hotels, and shopping centers, with a Monday to Friday 15:00-23:00 schedule.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Authorized to work in Canada with valid security license.
• First aid certification required.
• Basic phone and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service, greet visitors, check identification, and guide visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct foot patrols to identify risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Perform computer tasks.
• Address incidents and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
