Job summary

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. is hiring for concession stand roles at Scotiabank Arena, BMO Field and Coca-Cola Coliseum. You will prepare food and beverages, ensure safe handling, and provide responsible alcohol service to guests with a fast, friendly approach.

Ideal candidates have Smart Serve, flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and legal eligibility to work in Canada. Food service experience and safe handling training are assets; we value diverse backgrounds and

Qualifications

• Must have valid Smart Serve certification or be willing to acquire one before starting.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Previous food service experience is an asset.
• Safe food handling training is an asset.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and stay detail-focused.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and beverage orders quickly, efficiently and according to standard.
• Work diligently to ensure safe food handling principles are practiced.
• Provide responsible alcohol service using Smart Serve principles.
• Ensure AGCO and MLSE alcohol policies & regulations are followed.
• Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
• Monitor inventory and keep work area clean and organized.

Job Description

• Prepare food and beverage orders quickly, efficiently and according to standard
• Work diligently to ensure safe food handling principles are practiced
• Provide responsible alcohol service using Smart Serve principles
• Ensure AGCO and MLSE alcohol policies & regulations are followed
• Perform opening and closing duties as the need arises
• Monitor inventory
• Ensure work area and equipment is clean and organized at all times
• Provide fast and friendly fan service
• Act as an ambassador for MLSE and our communityPerform other administrative or service functions as the need arises
• Adhere to all MLSE service standards and policies including Health & Safety
• Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a valid Smart Serve certification or be willing to acquire one before starting the role
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
• Previous food service experience an asset
• Safe food handling training an asset
• Work well under pressure and balance multiple tasks at a time
• Able to pay close attention to detail and calculate order totals manually
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Genuine interest in creating positive customer service experiences

Compensation Range/Rate: $20.26 / hour
