Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Registered or eligible to register with APEGA as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in good standing.
• 5–10 years of progressive relevant engineering experience.
• Ability to initiate change and adapt to a changing work environment.
• Ability to drive short-term and long-term technical solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform data gathering and analyses to support issue resolution, facility health assessments, root cause investigations and risk assessments.
• Provide field-based operational troubleshooting support, including site visits and collaboration with senior reliability specialists.
• Analyze data to identify underperforming assets, systemic issues, and opportunities to improve reliability and maintenance.
• Facilitate operational decision-making risk assessments for compression facilities.
• Support development and execution of treatment plans to reduce asset and system-wide risk.
• Conduct alternatives analysis and provide scoping recommendations for capital and expense projects.
• Drive MOC development and implementation, including engineering design activities under oversight.
• Assist in development, review, and updates of TC Energy maintenance and operating procedures.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering

Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) with APEGA in good standing
