Qualifications

  • Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) is required.
  • Mechanical Engineering degree candidates must show significant field experience and hands-on exposure to mechanical systems.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Proven troubleshooting of complex mechanical issues and leadership of reliability initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to mentor and influence technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced mechanical and technical support to field teams, engineering, and regional management for safe, reliable operation of natural gas compression assets.
  • Deliver technical guidance and hands-on support to Operations Technicians on equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Act as liaison between Operations and Technical Services during escalation from identification to root cause analysis and solution implementation.
  • Lead RCFA studies and support cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments and reliability studies.

Education

Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Millwright (Industrial Mechanic)
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Degree
