Job summary

Multimatic in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a composite technician to join our Advanced Manufacturing Technologies team. You will be trained in laminating and vacuum bagging carbon fiber, working with autoclaves, and assembling high-performance composite components for motorsport and automotive programs.

Ideal candidates are hands-on, safety-focused and eager to learn about composite materials, resins, and adhesives.

Qualifications

  • Training provided in-house to operate tools.
  • Willing to read composite manuals and follow detailed instructions.
  • Interest in learning about composite materials and processes.
  • Safety-focused and able to keep work area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Laminating and vacuum bagging carbon fiber and other composites for curing in an autoclave.
  • Operate autoclaves and ovens to cure composite materials.
  • Build and assemble composite components and substructures.
  • Cut, trim, bond, and finish composite parts to precise specifications.
  • Interpret lamination and assembly manuals and maintain quality standards.
  • Support creation of master molds and patterns.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, leads, and QA to meet project timelines.
