Job summary

Multimatic is seeking an Automotive Prep Technician to meticulously prepare carbon fibre and fiberglass bodywork and apply primer/paint finishes for high‑performance vehicles. Training is provided and safety is emphasized in a dynamic team environment.

You will work with coatings, masks, and inspection steps, ensuring colour accuracy and flawless finishes while following strict work instructions and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in auto body finishing and repair.
• Experience in spot repair using airbrush or spray gun.
• Experience in colour matching.
• Experience with painting two or three tone graphics across various panels.
• Ability to interpret basic work instructions and follow mix ratios.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision with high quality output.
• An understanding of composite component construction is an asset.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Must be organized and work in a safe manner, following all safety procedures

The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be: $20.50 - $30.59
