Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Manager to oversee mobile traffic performance, detect fraudulent activities, and ensure compliance with best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in traffic analysis, fraud detection, and working with anti-fraud tools to protect our mobile campaigns from bot traffic and fraudulent sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor mobile traffic sources, analysing key performance indicators to identify anomalies.
  2. Implement and manage fraud detection tools to prevent invalid traffic and ad fraud.
  3. Investigate and blacklist fraudulent traffic sources, working closely with ad networks and affiliates.
  4. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  5. Collaborate with data and marketing teams to refine traffic filtering techniques.
  6. Generate reports on fraud trends, traffic quality, and compliance measures.
  7. Develop and enforce compliance policies for media buying, affiliate traffic, and ad placements.
Qualifications:
  1. 3+ years of experience in mobile traffic monitoring, fraud detection, or compliance.
  2. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in fraud detection tools like Adjust, AppsFlyer, or similar.
  3. Experience working with programmatic advertising, mobile attribution, and ad networks.
  4. Knowledge of bot detection techniques, click fraud prevention, and traffic validation.
  5. Ability to interpret data insights and recommend strategic improvements.
  6. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Traffic Analysis & Monitoring:
  1. Use tools like Google Analytics, Adjust, AppsFlyer, or custom tracking solutions to monitor traffic sources, device IDs, IP addresses, and behavior patterns.
  2. Track anomalies such as high bounce rates, short session durations, or unusual traffic spikes.
Fraud Detection Tools & Software:
  1. Implement fraud detection platforms like TrafficGuard, FraudScore, or Human Security to detect invalid traffic.
  2. Use AI-based pattern recognition to identify suspicious behavior.
Bot Detection & Prevention:
  1. Deploy CAPTCHA, fingerprinting techniques, and behavioral analysis to differentiate bots from real users.
  2. Monitor for automated scripts generating fake impressions, clicks, or installs.
Blacklist Management:
  1. Maintain and update a blacklist of fraudulent sources, suspicious publishers, and known bot IPs.
  2. Collaborate with ad networks and third-party verification tools to share intelligence.
Source and Partner Verification:
  1. Conduct due diligence on affiliate networks, demand partners, and traffic sources.
  2. Establish strict compliance guidelines for traffic acquisition.
Behavioral Analysis & Traffic Pattern Insights:
  1. Compare traffic from different sources, focusing on engagement metrics.
  2. Identify discrepancies such as high install rates with no post-install activity.
Ad Campaign & Attribution Fraud Prevention:
  1. Detect click flooding, click injection, or fake attributions through MMPs (Mobile Measurement Partners).
  2. Verify organic vs. paid traffic discrepancies.
Regular Compliance Audits & Reporting:
  1. Generate periodic reports on traffic quality, fraud trends, and compliance issues.
  2. Work with data teams to refine detection models and optimize filters.
