Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for risk management and business protection? We’re looking for a Compliance Manager who will safeguard our business and empower our teams to thrive. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact by predicting risks and guiding the business with a focus on Values and Risk Management.

What You’ll Do:

As our Compliance Manager, you’ll be a vital business partner working closely with teams to foresee potential risks and ensure compliance across the organization. Your role will support, advise, and protect the company through a proactive approach.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support and advise the Local Business on Risk Identification, Management, and Monitoring related to LOC Medical and Commercial Initiatives.
  • Oversee the implementation of Disciplined Compliance throughout the LOC.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of LOC Privacy Elements with legal and support teams.
  • Participate in various elements including being a Business Partner/Challenger, strengthening risk management, standardizing methodology, and focusing on key challenges and solutions.
  • Support business-led monitoring, risk identification, and ethical initiatives.
  • Model and support “Disciplined Compliance” and embed a data-driven approach using Data Analytics and Key Risk Indicators.
  • Lead local efforts in Enterprise Risk Management, Internal and External audits, and compliance assessments.
  • Develop and implement training to embed Values, ethics, and decision-making skills.
  • Manage Day-to-Day LOC Privacy Responsibilities, including incident reports and compliance with Privacy Regulatory Requirements.
Further Responsibilities:
  • Represent E&C on Key LOC and Global Projects ensuring compliance with laws and standards.
  • Implement Global Ethics and Compliance programs locally.
  • Support leadership in risk and compliance governance processes.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices within and outside the organization.
  • Collaborate with international counterparts to ensure best practice application.
  • Work across GEC and internal partners to protect GSK through disciplined compliance.
Qualifications Required:
  • University degree in Legal, Business Administration, Marketing, or Sciences.
  • At least three years’ experience in Compliance/Legal within the Pharma industry.
  • Strong communication skills in English; French is an asset.
  • Good understanding of the Canadian Healthcare sector.
  • Experience in strategic initiatives, project management, and cross-functional facilitation.
  • Ability to develop policies, build credibility, and work in a matrix environment.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Pharma Industry codes and standards.
  • Strong ethical standards, discretion, and diplomacy.
