Work Environment

We offer a flexible, hybrid work environment with a mix of in-office and remote work. Typically, hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with flexibility. This position is based in Toronto or Vancouver; candidates outside these areas must be willing to relocate.

About You

You are motivated, team-oriented, with experience in compliance and regulatory services across business lines. You excel at analysis, problem-solving, research, and engaging stakeholders. You thrive under deadlines and in high-volume environments.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of compliance or regulatory experience.
• 1-2+ years in a financial institution.
• Ability to produce technical documents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with compliance software (Resolver) or willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365, especially Excel (pivot tables, IF, Lookup).
• Adaptable, flexible, innovative, responsive to change.
• Understanding of relevant legislation (asset consideration).

Daily Responsibilities

• Support regulatory compliance operations.
• Conduct monitoring and testing of controls.
• Draft and present reports to management.
• Assess regulatory changes and recommend process improvements.
• Create accessible research materials.
• Manage special projects and develop related materials.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, with profit sharing, benefits, and RRSP matching. Salary expectations will be discussed during the recruitment process.
