Job summary

SkilledTradesBC is seeking a Coordinator, Completions for a permanent full-time role in a hybrid work environment in Canada. The position supports apprentices and trade qualifiers by addressing barriers to completion, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with multiple teams to improve certification outcomes.

The role reports to the Manager of Completions and requires strong policy knowledge, customer service experience, and excellent interpersonal skills. Closing date: 2026-09-11.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary degree in Business Administration or Inclusive Education preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in a customer service environment.
• Experience with CRM or similar in-house customer service tracking system is an asset.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and external partners.
• Ability to de-escalate emotionally charged situations.

Responsibilities

• Administrative support: create and maintain reports, schedule meetings, and take minutes.
• Provide guidance to initiatives and support for completion programs.
• Conduct in-depth interviews with trade workers to assess needs and provide approvals.
• Manage case files, notes, exams scheduling, and progress tracking.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to improve apprentice progression.
