Job summary

Public Health Ontario (PHO) is seeking a Compensation and Benefits Specialist in Toronto. This role provides expert analysis, advice, and operational support for compensation and benefits programs, including administration of salary structures, job evaluation, and pay equity.

You will deliver data-driven insights to leaders, HR partners, and employees, ensuring programs are compliant, competitive, and aligned with policies.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, HR or related field.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or in progress.
• CHRP designation preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of compensation and benefits program design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual compensation cycle, incl. merit increases and wage adjustments.
• Administer salary structures and programs per policy and law.
• Maintain pay equity program and compliance.
• Provide data-driven advice on compensation matters.
• Collaborate with HR partners and leaders on guidance and decisions.
• Prepare compensation reports and cost analyses for decision-making.
