Job summary

Hopewell Support Services in Guelph, Ontario is seeking a Regular Part Time Support Services Worker to join our Residential and Respite Services Team, supporting individuals with developmental and physical disabilities across multiple sites in Guelph-Wellington.

You will work as part of a clinical multidisciplinary team, implementing behavior support plans, assisting with daily living tasks, documentation, and collaboration with families and community partners to enhance quality of life.

Qualifications

• University or college degree in a relevant field is required.
• Valid class G driver's license is required.
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living tasks and activities.
• Support independence with daily living programs (toileting, grooming, nutrition, etc.).
• Observe, assess, and report changes in behaviours and abilities.
• Provide transportation or accompany individuals to appointments as needed.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with team members and families.
