Job summary

The Support Services Worker at Hopewell Support Services provides professional care within a clinical multidisciplinary team for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities across Guelph-Wellington. You’ll assist with daily living tasks, implement behavior support plans, and ensure safety and well-being while collaborating with families and care partners.

This temporary casual, on-site role offers a competitive hourly wage between $23.31 and $29.29, with benefits and a supportive,

Qualifications

• Must have a valid class G driver's license.
• University or college degree/diploma in a relevant field.
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, dual diagnoses, and complex behavioral needs.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to live independently and participate in meaningful activities.
• Provide communication assistance and observe/report changes in behaviour and abilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including housekeeping, grooming, nutrition, and transport.
• Implement behaviour support plans and document data per ABA-based practices.
• Provide personal care support following care plans and safety procedures.
