Responsibilities

• To serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• To set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required.
• To assist with cleaning of dishware and cutlery at the conclusion of each dining service.
• To assist with maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen and dining area as required.
• To assist with catering and participate in special occasions and theme events.
• To assist in orientation and training of new culinary employees.
• To follow health and safety legislation and department procedures.
• To comply with provincial regulations and department policies.
• To respect Resident Rights & Responsibilities.
• To attend in-service training as required to better serve residents.
• To participate in staff meetings and be aware of residence changes.
• To support the organization’s values and ethics as per Code of Conduct.
• To complete all other tasks as assigned.
