Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking a Guest Attendant to provide compassionate, resident-centered care onsite in Brockville, Ontario. The role supports daily resident needs, medication routines, and community operations while upholding dignity and well-being.

You will respond to call bells, assist with daily care, administer medications, and help with dining services. Strong communication and organizational skills are required, with flexibility for variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Hospitality, Gerontology, Social Services, Healthcare, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, healthcare, or seniors’ living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident call bells and assist with daily care while ensuring comfort, safety and dignity.
• Administer medications, prepare medication carts, monitor supplies, coordinate refills, and maintain med records per policies.
• Complete wellness checks and report changes to Health and Wellness Manager or designate.
• Support dining services with census checks, tray service, and assisting dining staff as required.
• Maintain documentation: charting, MARs, narcotic counts, logs, wellness checklists, and shift reports.
• Assist residents with escorts, transfers, supervision, laundry, and linen changes.
• Maintain safe, organized environment by sanitizing equipment and reporting safety or maintenance issues.
• Participate in handovers, emergency procedures, fire safety, welcome new residents, and other duties.
