Job summary

Hôtel Dieu Grace Healthcare (HDGH) in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide direct quality personal care under supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, support patients’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs, and follow individualized plans of care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with registered healthcare professionals, adherence to safety standards, and compassionate teamwork in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) is required.
• Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR is required.
• Gentle Persuasive Approaches in Patients with Dementia or P.I.E.C.E.S or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in hospice care or similar environment is an asset.
• Ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
• French language skills are an asset.

• Provide direct quality personal care to patients per their plan of care.
• Promote and participate in maintenance of patients’ physical, emotional, social, cultural, intellectual and spiritual function.
