Job summary

Extendicare invites applications for part-time PSW/HCA/CCA positions at Tendercare Living Centre, a 204-bed long-term care home in Scarborough, Ontario. Under supervision, you will deliver direct personal and nursing care to residents, including mobility, feeding, bathing and emotional support.

Qualified candidates have completed a PSW program meeting ministry standards. Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus, with strong English communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ambulation, feeding, bathing and grooming.
• Support participation in activity programs and transport to activities.
• Provide feeding assistance and meal service as needed.
• Offer emotional and social support to residents and families.
• Document and communicate care plans and concerns to supervisor.
