Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care in Canada is seeking dedicated Health Care aides to visit patients at home, providing meals, basic housekeeping, companionship, and personal hygiene support. You will travel across designated areas delivering compassionate care and improving quality of life for clients in need.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Compassion and listening skills.
• Willingness to visit patients’ residences within a designated area.
• Experience working with seniors and/or children is an asset.
• Ability to pass or satisfy a Criminal Background screening upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Travel from patient to patient completing several home visits per day.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal-time.
• Basic housekeeping duties.
• Provide companionship and support the well-being of patients.
• Assist with personal hygiene care including showering and bathing.
• Support for basic activities of daily living.
