Job summary

CarePartners is seeking Personal Support Workers to assist patients at home in the Welland area. You will help with daily living activities, promote safety, and provide emotional support under supervision of our Personal Support Manager.

Candidates must hold a PSW certificate or be enrolled in a nursing program; a valid driver's license and a vehicle are required. Flexible hours and a $750 signing bonus are offered by CarePartners.

Qualifications

• Valid Personal Support Worker certificate or enrollment in a related nursing program.
• Driver’s license (G or G2) and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings and alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Promote safety and proper body mechanics during transfers.
• Provide cognitive, social and emotional support to patients.
• Prepare meals and snacks per care plan and ensure hygiene practices.
