Job summary

CarePartners in Ontario is seeking Personal Support Workers to assist patients in home and community care settings, including Burk Falls. You will help with activities of daily living, medication assistance, and promote independence under supervision of our Personal Support Manager.

The role offers competitive wages from $20.96 to $23.20 per hour, a $750 signing bonus, paid mileage at 0.45/km plus travel time, paid orientation and mentoring, benefits, and flexible hours with diverse assignments.

Qualifications

• Valid PSW certificate or enrollment in a nursing program.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Current vulnerable sector check/background check.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours.
• Strong interpersonal skills and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and medication assistance.
• Promote safety at home and proper body mechanics.
• Provide cognitive, social and/or emotional support.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to the care plan.
