Job summary

CarePartners is seeking Personal Support Workers to assist patients in Durham, ON and surrounding areas, delivering patient and family-centered care. You will provide daily living support, ensure safety, and contribute to nutrition and well-being while working flexible hours and receiving mentoring.

A signing bonus of $750 is offered, with paid mileage at 0.45 per km plus travel time, and a comprehensive benefits package including EAP and education opportunities.

Qualifications

Current vulnerable sector check screening with a clear background check.
Valid PSW certificate or enrollment in a nursing-related program.
Driver’s license (G or G2), reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
Promote a safe environment with proper body mechanics and safe transfers.
Provide cognitive, social or emotional support to patients.
Prepare meals and snacks per care plan using proper food handling.
