Job summary

Sienna Senior Living in Elmira is seeking a Personal Support Worker to join our Long Term Care team. You will support residents with daily living activities, build relationships with residents and families, and contribute to a caring, respectful home. You have completed a PSW program or are an internationally educated nurse with nursing degree.

Qualifications

• You have completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution.
• You are detailed-oriented and proficient in bedside care to residents.
• You exercise tact and diplomacy in working with residents, families and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide Resident Supervision and Assistance, helping with activities of daily living as per care plans.
• Provide Resident Care and Services, including communication support and assisting with prescribed training and mobility aids.
• Support Resident Comfort & Well-being with cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support and participation in Resident Experience activities.
