Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is hiring Personal Support Workers in Ontario. You will support residents with daily living tasks, provide companionship, and help with meals and hygiene, while documenting care in the electronic health record.

A compassionate, team-oriented approach is essential, with strong communication and time-management skills. Qualified PSW certification and current CPR/First Aid are required, plus a Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• PSW certification from a recognized program.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification.
• Vulnerable Sector Check within six months or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Prior experience in a Senior Living setting is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal support and deliver activities of daily living.
• Assist with ambulatory support, personal hygiene, companionship and nutrition.
• Document care on the electronic health record and report changes to the clinical team.
• Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure resident well-being.
