Cogir Senior Living in Newmarket, Ontario, is seeking Personal Support Workers to join our compassionate team. The role provides an hourly wage of $20.42 and offers onboarding, ongoing training, benefits, vacation time, and a range of employee programs.

As a PSW, you will deliver ambulatory support, personal hygiene, companionship and nutritional assistance as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Certification is required, and you will document tasks in an electronic health record and communicate

Competenze

• PSW Certification from a certified educational facility OR internationally educated nurse.
• Strong drive, respect and an understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role.
• Focus on teamwork and customer service with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
• Volunteer/working experience in a Senior Living setting is an asset, not required.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required.
• Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one.

Mansioni
