Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to support patients at home across Sudbury and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily living activities, help with meals, and provide companionship to improve quality of life.

The role requires a valid PSW certificate, a driver’s license with access to a vehicle, and a compassionate, reliable approach. Part-time position with competitive hourly pay and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate.
• Valid driver license and access to a vehicle to travel to patient residences.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, oral care, bathing, toileting, and peri-care.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks per care plan.
• Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to improve quality of life.
