Extendicare is seeking a reliable housekeeping aide in Alberta to support residents and keep care homes clean and safe. You will perform cleaning tasks, handle waste, and follow the manager's instructions while protecting residents' privacy.

This part-time role requires the ability to read and follow English instructions, work well in a team or alone, and adhere to safety policies. We offer competitive compensation and a supportive, inclusive work environment.

Competenze

• Ability to work safely, following established safety practices & procedures.
• Considerable lifting, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, moving equipment and climbing ladders.
• Exposure to biochemical agents and wet floors.
• Ability to read and write English and follow simple written and verbal instructions in English.
• Work as a team player.

• Reliable and punctual.
• Housekeeping aide will be responsible for cleaning, garbage removal, floors, and other tasks assigned by the Manager.
• Able to work in a group as well as working alone.
• Ensures privacy of residents during performance of duties.
• Adheres to established company policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, and safety.
• Participates in company meetings as assigned.
• Attends in-service education programs.
