Job summary

Senior Helpers of Surrey North is urgently hiring caregivers with experience in assisted living, home care or healthcare. You will provide in-home support to seniors, offering companionship, daily living assistance and engagement in activities to improve quality of life.

Candidates with a BC Care Aide license or nursing license are preferred; driving and Mandarin speaking are advantages. Flexible schedules, paid training, and opportunities for advancement are offered to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Has a Driver's license and a car
• Speaks Mandarin
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health or nursing assistance is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
• Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities
• Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up
