Job summary

Senior Helpers Surrey is urgently hiring care professionals to support seniors at home, building positive relationships and promoting dignity and independence. You will assist with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and IADLs while communicating clearly with clients and families.

We provide PPE, specialized training, opportunities for personal certifications, and a friendly work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or home support preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and families.
• Respect for client dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, their families, and care team members through clear and compassionate communication.
• Assist clients with personal care activities while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.
• Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, shopping, and household organization.
• Companionship.
• Transportation Assistance (Driver's License Required).
• Observe and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition to family members and appropriate care staff.
• Foster a safe, clean, and supportive home environment that promotes independence and enhances quality of life.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
