Comfort Keepers in Vancouver is seeking compassionate individuals to provide non-medical, in-home support that promotes comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life for seniors and others in need. As a housekeeper, you will offer companionship, assist with light housekeeping, document care notes, and follow each client's Plan of Care.

The role may involve travel to nearby communities and requires reliable transportation, a valid license, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR & First Aid Certification.
• Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are assets.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and organized.
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to quality client care.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions carefully.

Responsabilidades

• Provide companionship and light household assistance per plan of care.
• Offer companionship through conversation, activities, and social engagement.
• Support clients’ emotional well‑being and mental alertness.
• Assist with light housekeeping: vacuuming, dusting, laundry, dishes, bathroom and kitchen cleaning.
• Complete documentation and care notes accurately and on time.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain client confidentiality.
