Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care is hiring a Home Support Worker to help community members live safely at home. You will support daily tasks, self-care, meals, and companionship during home visits while gaining hands-on training through a 3-week program.

Part-time and full-time opportunities are available with flexible scheduling, comprehensive health benefits, mileage compensation, and education support including a PSW bridging program funded by ParaMed.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient-focused care approach.
• Ability to listen and adapt to patient needs.
• Willingness to visit patient residences within a designated area.

Responsibilities

• Travel between patients for home visits.
• Prepare meals and assist with dining.
• Perform basic housekeeping tasks.
• Provide companionship and support overall wellbeing.
• Assist with personal hygiene care as needed.
