Job summary

Assisted Living Alberta is seeking a Health Care Aide to join the Home Living team, providing personal care and support in clients' homes as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Based in Fort Saskatchewan with travel to suburban/rural East areas as required, you will work under supervision of a regulated health professional to deliver care and maintain safety and quality in the care setting.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible for registration or practice permit with the CLHA as a Health Care Aide.
• Proof of education or completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire.
• BCLS HCP certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients in home and community settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living per care plan and document care provided.
• Observe, report and communicate changes in patient health and wellbeing.
• Support nurses and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; maintain a safe environment.
