Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Health Care Aide to join our care teams across Canada. As an HCA, you will assist residents with personal care, meals, mobility, and daily routines under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in continuing care or related environment preferred.
• Fluent English, both oral and written.
• Completion of a recognized PCA/HCA certificate or equivalent education.
• Active registration with CLHA.

Responsibilities

• Bath, shower, and wash residents to promote comfort and well‑being.
• Transfer/assist with resident transfers using lifts and transfer belts.
• Feed/assist with meals and nourish snacks per care plans.
• Provide routine treatments under supervision of a Staff Nurse.
• Assist residents with mobility and travel inside the facility.
• Support dining room transfers and accompany to activities every day.
