Job summary

LutherCare Communities in Saskatchewan is seeking a Disability Support Worker for temporary full-time and part-time roles. You will provide personal care and ensure the safety of group home residents with high medical needs, following individual care plans to maintain a good quality of life.

Applicants should have post-secondary education in a related discipline and at least one year of experience with cognitively or physically disabled adults.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a related discipline with at least 1 year experience with cognitively and/or physically disabled adults with high medical needs.
• Comfortable providing medical support when required.
• Fluent in English; Sign language is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and ensure safety of group home residents with high medical needs.
• Implement individual care plans and monitor residents’ well-being.
• Support daily living and respond to medical needs as required.
