Job summary

VON is seeking a part-time Driver, Client Transportation to provide regular client transport between homes and designated facilities. You will operate an accessible vehicle, follow safety protocols, and ensure client needs are met while in your care.

We require a high school diploma and at least one year of experience with seniors or adults with disabilities, plus the ability to lift up to 35 pounds and handle wheelchair equipment. A valid driver’s license and clear record are also needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum one year experience with seniors and adults with disabilities.
• Experience with, and physically capable of, handling vehicle restraints.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe transportation of clients in an accessible vehicle as scheduled.
• Maintain vehicle logs regularly.
• Complete necessary certifications as directed.
• Abides by confidentiality policies and protects personal information.
• Assist clients with their equipment and ensure safety at pick-up and drop-off.
