Job summary

Jobtailor in Canada is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee end-to-end program operations and wellness initiatives at a university. You will guide strategic alignment, resource planning, and data-driven decisions to enhance program delivery and organizational impact.

Collaborating with internal and external partners, you will foster an inclusive, student-centered environment while championing continuous improvement and operational excellence across health promotion activities.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Sector, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in program operations, including team leadership and project management.
  • Experience in a nonprofit, education, or human services environment is asset.
  • Understanding of human resources practices including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit or program-based operational management, including budgeting and resource planning.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and continuous improvement principles.
  • Strong knowledge of equity-informed, trauma-informed, person-centred and culturally responsive approaches to wellness.
  • Understanding of data analytics for program evaluation and performance measurement.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience in team development.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in developing and using systems for resource management and data tracking.
  • High emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operations.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interpret data and use insights to drive program and organizational improvement.
